Why Would They Sell Ciggarettes At a Grocery Store?
Yesterday, as I was stopped at a stoplight, I saw a woman crossing the street with a full bag from a drugstore. I won’t name the drugstore, but suffice to say that it’s a well known chain. Anyway, what struck me as odd was that her bag had a prescription in it (I could see the little bag with the label) and a package of ciggarettes.
Now, is it just me or is it almost ridiculous to sell a product KNOWN to cause cancer in the same space, I mean right beside, a healthcare cart full of medicine to make people healthy!?
That’s it. I’m done venting. Really though, is it just me or is that very odd??
