Researching Family History
It’s so interested to start doing a little research on your family history and see what you can find. It’s almost like there’s a great big puzzle for you to solve and you’ve only got a few pieces.
How cool would it be to find out what your great-great-great-grandfather did for a living? Or where your family originally came from? I’ve been doing a little research myself and find it to be pretty interesting.
The neat thing is you can find so much stuff online now. I guess back before the internet you really didn’t have a choice but to make phone calls, visit places where records were stored, or have things faxed to you but nowadays, so much information is online. You can find birth records, census records and all kinds of neat stuff.
There are lots of free sites but also some paid. I found my cousin posting on a forum at Geneology.com and she was looking for long lost relatives.
So, have you done any family history research? I think it could become quite addicting.
