Mommy, I Dot a Beaver
Matthew is sick. Pretty standard for the start of the school year unfortunately. Jen had it last weekend so now it’s his turn ;). Now that they are not babies anymore we don’t exactly “cuddle” much, so when they are sick it’s my turn to snuggle with them - I guess it’s a perk LOL.
Anyway, as I was sitting and cuddling with Matt I remembered a time when Jen was “wee”, I guess around 2yrs, and was sick. Her little face peering up at me while I took her temperature, she said “Mommy, I dot a beaver” and sighed. I had quite a giggle and told her a beaver is an animal and that she had a “fever”. I love that phase where they confuse words… so cute!
