Healthy Kids Really Are Miracles

I remember back in University sitting in a Psychology class about child development and thinking “oh God, look at all the things that can go wrong!!”. Everything from preemies with cerebral palsy to boys with an extra “Y” chromosome :shock:… scary stuff!! It really did scare me a lot.
Not enough to not take the gamble and have kids myself (obviously), but certainly enough to realize that healthy children really are something to celebrate and be thankful for. Every now and then I linger a bit longer at their bedside and thank God - on my behalf and theirs too
