I haven’t yet but I generally do like the books that Oprah recommends. I do find that, since she likes to read so much, she has a good feel for what books are worth telling her readers to read. Also, if the book isn’t a good read just for it’s story line - like in fiction books - they are good at teaching a lesson of some sort. That’s why i’m considering buying “A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose”

Life is pretty good I have to say
. Right now I’m curled up in a recliner watching a movie as I type this and I feel darn lucky. Really I do… I just ate good food, I have a full belly, and I’m snuggled up with great company
. I think I’ll just grab a glass of wine and settle in. Good night

Have you? I have eaten Fig Newtons and REALLY liked them but I’ve never eaten a fig… just on it’s own - fresh and green/red. It’s on my to-do list though. I’m just not sure if I need to peel them or if I need to dry the fruit first or maybe cook it??? I dont’ want to eat it raw and then find out that I did it totally wrong. Hmmm… I need to find a fig-eating friend to ask

I do. I enjoy the US magazines for the most part. Not because of the ads for things like of course, but because I find the coverage is so much more thorough. The Canadian magazines are okay too - especially if they are about something like beauty or fashion - because they give Canadian sources. But if it’s a gossip magazine (a guilty pleasure of mine every now and then), the US mags are by far the best
