I’ve been pondering getting my belly button pierced. It was pierced way back when, before I had two lovely babies
. I really liked having the little bit of “bling” that the body jewelry gave me. I’m just not sure what kind of a message it will send my daughter (and son?). It seems harmless enough but I don’t think I’d want her to get her belly button pierced - and don’t even get me started on how i’d feel if she got her nose or eyebrow done!!
Yah, maybe I’ll stay “ring-free” for at least a little while longer

I tell ya, the people in the marketing department at Proactive must have a HUGE budget to play with! I mean really, now many celebrities have you seen “coming clean” lately about their acne problem? (or at least they SAY they had a problem
). Of course they all say the same thing - that Proactiv acne cream is the only reason their skin is so perfectly beautiful now. Help or hype?? Who knows??

To me it’s a silly question, or at least it was. If your kids get a check for their birthday, do you let them cash it and then spend it or do you deposit it into their respective checking accounts and not let them touch it?
To clarify, i’m not talking about big sums of money here - just maybe $50 or $75 dollars from an Aunt or Nana and Papa for example. To me, they should be able to spend it unless there was an instruction from the gift giver that the meoney is for saving. Otherwise the gift they gave… well, it seems to the kids that they didn’t even GET a gift

I think sometimes she needs to have a blood pressure monitor permanently attached to her arm. It seems that no matter what happens to her she is pretty sure it’s the end of the world. She won’t say it but she’ll imply it - very odd. It tmakes me feel bad but the truth is that I dread phoning her because she’ll tell me every negative thing about my life too. I hang up needing a drink or a trip to a therapist… sigh…

I think I’m going to go for the blue furniture that I found on sale at The Brick. The only thing holding me back is whether or not I’m crazy to go with a trendy colour of furniture. Will I come to hate that blue in a year or two? I don’t think so but what if I do? Is it on sale enough to make the decision okay if I want to buy new in a couple years? Hmm… I think I’ll go visit it again tomorrow and see if I still love it.

I had to send in my laptop and it had me scanning my memory to try to remember whether I had anything stored on their that might be embarassing to have someone else see. No, not anything terribly scandalous LOL. Just maybe photos where I’m not looking my best or even a journal that might still be around somehow - even though I delelted it. I just wonder if they have time to snoop through to look for embarassing stuff… hmmm…

When I moved I decided to bundle everything with Bell. This seemed to make sense at the time because the sales guy on the phone told me that when everything goes digital in the new year, cable wouldn’t be as good as satellite. But, he lied AND Bell’s satellite isn’t even remotely as good as Rogers cable was. Gosh I miss it
I had had a good experience with satellite way back when so I know that it can be good - and those with satellite may think I’m crazy to not be happy with what I have but I swear it is a pain! Every time it rains I lose my signal - grrr…

I think it’s because I’ve had a tummy tuck and can now wear things I couldn’t wear before… My mind keeps wandering to Halloween and what I’ll be this year. I remember a couple years ago I really wanted to be Cat Woman but of course, with my baby belly (still lingering after 5 years) there was no way I’d look good in that tight of a costume.
This year though I’m thinking about, maybe not Cat Woman, but someone else sexy like her. I might even throw my own party with fun Halloween invitations and everything. I’m so excited!

Well, with a move and then some surgery, I’ve not been able to unpack as quickly as I’d have liked to. BUT today, armed with my trusty box knife, I set about unpacking and actually got quite a bit done
. Tomorrow we are tackling the rest of the boxes and hopefully, we’ll even get out to order some furniture for the livingroom! Oh… dare to dream LOL!
