I have to admit that I love food. I love to eat alone, with friends, while standing, while sitting and even while hiding from my kids (hey, I’m not always a good sharer LOL).
Some foods though I wish there was some kind of drug rehab kind of thing so I could stop craving them. Right now, I REALLY want a McDonald’s double cheeseburger. If I could find some way to shake that craving (and maybe my Doritos craving
), I’d be thrilled!!

I was putting some songs on an ipod last night and had a heck of a time finding songs I like LOL! I do like lots of music and songs but I never remember the names. Anyway I came accross a few but then as I was listening to the sample bit (to decide if i wanted to buy the song), I realized that I really have no idea what the words are
. I may hear “movers New York” but they could be saying “I really like pork”… but hey, I sing along and have fun so that’s the main thing right?

Do you know the ones I mean? The ones that look like egg cartons but are made of squishy foam. They make a great mattress topper because they take any mattress and make it WAY more comfortable.
What worries me though is the smell of them. They smell like chemicals. I can’t help but wonder if they are healthy for kids to smell for 8 or 10 hours a night. But then I’m a bit on the paranoid side
.

Friends of ours have a child named Karley-Ann Vanessa Michelle (and a long last name that I’ll keep to myself for privacy reasons). It’s a lovely name and none of my business I suppose but between you and I, I think it’s a bit too long. Makes me wonder if she’ll end up shortening it to KVM and be one of those kids whose names you never really know because they go by the acronym.

I wish I liked the idea of going on cruises for a vacation. I like all the bits and pieces of it a lot. Love the close proximity of all the fun stuff; love the idea of getting to stop at different ports to see different places; love the idea of not having to drive; love the all you can eat buffetts and entertainment - love it all. But darn it, why does it all have to mean floating in reallllllllly deep water??? Ever since Titanic I can’t seem to shake the idea of the ship sinking while I’d be sleeping. Not good.

I want to get some games to play with the kids. Recently Hubby cleaned up the toyroom and pretty much gave away 3/4 of the toys and stuff. I really have to walk away when he cleans. I want to keep everything which is not condusive to a good tidy LOL!
I wonder how often other parents clean out their kids’ toyrooms…

We’ve had some dilemmas with the kids when they get checks for their birthdays. I think that the kids should be able to spend some of it; Hubby thinks they should have to deposit it into their savings accounts and leave it there.
The thing is, it’s his family giving the checks and I really do think they just write a check because it’s easier than getting cash and that their intention is for the kids to be able to spend the money. I wish Hubby would just ask what they want the kids to do with the money… but he won’t - grrrr.

Have you ever been on someone’s computer and, just out of pure nosiness, hit Ctrl H to see what their surfing history was? I’ve done it once with Hubby’s laptop and it was pretty funny
In all honesty, computer memory can be a bit scarey when you think of what all someone can find out about you just with a bit of snooping
. Best make sure you don’t go anywhere, or look up anything, that you’d not want anyone to know about!

I’m enjoying a relaxing evening watching TV with Hubby. We’re about to watch a movie and I’m pretty excited that we’ve just discussed putting a TV in the bedroom
.
I know, I know, lots of people say it’s a bad idea but I’ve been wanting to cuddle up in the sheets and watch a movie for eons. He said that we just need our friend (who’s an electrician), some CAT6 cable and a new TV and we’re all set! So, tomorrow we’re off to Costco to get a TV - yay!

Well, I started with my personal trainer on Monday and I have to say it’s gone really well! I get to warm up on a treadclimber - which is like a treadmill and stairclimber mixed together - very fun! I have to add though, that my treadmill faces the designer jewelry
