In order to progress at work - and increase my chances of getting hired on full time when my contract is up - I decided to take a course in Basic Insurance Principles. It sounded like a great idea but, as I sit here ready to fall asleep, I realized that topics like mortgage life insurance and the different types of contracts, are just not that stimulating LOL 
. Shoot, I’m really having trouble staying awake… each page lulls me a little more… yawn…

. I have a great treadmill downstairs in front of a big screen TV. I know that I should go down there and work out and watch TV, I mean it’s a great set up and I really need to lose weight BUT darnit, I just want to have a glass of wine and watch a chick flick instead 
Sigh… I guess Wednesday when I weigh in I’ll have no one to blame but myself (and the people who make good movies and tastey wine ).

Have you ever purchased something online only to get to the checkout and see a space to add a coupon code and wished you had one? It happens all the time to me but I’m getting wiser and starting to look for coupon codes for stores I shop at BEFORE I shop. Call me crazy, but if there is a way to save a few dollars OR a percentage of my purchase, buy just taking a couple minutes to find a code, I’m going to do it. And of course friend, I recommend you do too. Use the money you save to get some ice cream or other treats for your kids or sweetie

Just being nosey today It dawned on me last night (we had a girls’ night out) that each of us looks for something different in a guy in order for us to find him attractive.
For some women, he needs to be attractive and clean shaven, for others scruffy and rugged. There are also the women who look for a man who is good with power tools and wears his Delta machinery T-shirt with pride, and then the woment who want a smart, bookish guy. Makes me wonder what traits are the most common. So, what’s your favorite? What do you look for?

One of my dreams is to one day design my dream home and have it built. When I see the land for sale Branson sign I get excited and go off into dream land imagining the home I’d love.
I want a big entry way with big cubbies for backpacks and loads of room for shoes and boots and coats; a big kitchen with an adjoining eat-in area with a walk out to a big deck - that surrounds our pool of course LOL!! Oh, I’d better get back to work and stop daydreaming for a while .

First I must say that I don’t know one grill from another; Asanti grilles might as well be dress frills to me LOL!! BUT that said, I know that grills do rock and I have on my list to one day learn how to use them (or at least one of them ).
Do you grill? Am I the only mommy who has no idea how to do this stuff? Funny, I’m smiling as I type this though because I know that, as long as I don’t know how to use the grill, I won’t have to - Hubby will do it for me Ahhh, yes, it’s a part of my strategy!

For years we hadn’t had a Superbowl party but finally, this year we did it again. I think part of the reason is that we have our living room nicely decorated now. We have a custom sectional that seats 6 and 4 leather club chairs so there is plenty of seating.
Of course you all know that the big part is the TV Now that Hubby has his plasma mount installed and his new TV is ready to go, he is all about having other men over to see the High Def picture. Gosh men are funny LOL!

How sad is that? But I’m so tuckered with working full time and keeping my online business going that I just want to sleep for 12 or 20 hours all in a row - for several days - so I can feel rested again. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not unhappy about either of my jobs - I love them both. I’m just realizing that I’m actually working two jobs - no wonder I’m so tired
Friends of mine were talking about getting away to relax and it made me smile because there is no way I’d want to splurge on Hawaii or even Vegas hotels to relax when all I need is my bed . Maybe AFTER my week of sleep I could stand a vacation .

No, I’m not being sarcastic - I really do enjoy house shopping There is something about searching for the place in your life that is new and will make new memories for/with your family that is so exciting and full of promise… or, maybe I’m some kind of romantic
I think that real estate agents must get to see some very good memories in the making when people find out that their offer has been accepted and they are going to be able to buy that dream house. Ahhh, good times
